Trespassers shot

I would fire an attorney that didn't throw these evidences into the mix during trial arguments. Everything should be considered if somebody wrongs you or your loved one.

And you know better too.

I guess some people just don't care what's right.

I will bet that there is more to this story than is being reported.

Living in rural Oregon, I think there was a, now legal, pot grow on that property and that the two trespassers were trying to steal some. The women in the car that dropped them off (this is a sure clue, they were not starting a weeks long survival trek) were waiting to pick them up with the stolen crop.

This is probably closer to what happened than any other theory.

I was wondering if the guy had left the bodies out by the road if they would take them. Here they'll come right up a short drive to take something out of a pickup. Wish I had my Stihjl 192T back.

If by 'they' you mean the Shire "Patrol", then I can understand. :)

The "Patrol" is a Council vehicle that goes around picking up the roadkill... if you happen to nail a wallaby on your driveway, you can simply drop it at the roadside and they'll pick it up sooner or later.

If the property owner hadn't buried the trespassers, I'd have gone with this scenario.

Safety on a pistol in your pocket can be nudged from SAFE to BLOW YOUR KNEECAP OFF fairly easy. So, I would advise that you get a proper holster. Just like the pro's. Safeties don't make any loaded gun safe... even if you had a dozen.

A traditional holster would be too big for concealed carry.
I do use an Uncle Mikes pocket holster though, for my Ruger LC9.
It would take a concerted effort to "nudge" my LC9 safety off in my pocket.

Nuts with a gun.

Yeah, if only one could separate the nuts with the guns from their guns, it might be a start in the right direction.
For all the 'flamers', note I didn't say, grab all the guns from everyone, just those who shouldn't qualify for ownership in the first place. I'm NOT saying that would be an easy task- but there is no crime in hoping for a better situation than what is in place currently in the USA.

Just curious, what should disqualify someone from owning a gun?

how about all the this that already legally bar ownership?
