Anyone know the correct color grey for Kubota front end weights?

Thank you for taking the time to help me out. After checking notes, I see what Kubota did have figured it out. Altering my current bracket is probably not a good idea so I'll just order the part. This really helps a lot because weights won't stay on but only come on for tillage and that can occur on short notice when I would rather not be wasting time with the bracket. This will work. Thank you.

Wow, I better try to hunt this down. I had one dealer tell ne it was the same color as the frame but ROPS gray is so close. Thanks and I'll check it out. I appreciate the tip.

I went and checked, and I did use the ROPS gray 7000. These weights had lots of surface rust when I got them and I have had them on 3 different M Tractors. I think the last time I painted them was around a year or so. I like being able to quickly remove and reinstall as the need arises. I normally have the loader off when I bushog which is mostly what thie tractor is for.

After an email to the best Kubota parts guy I know, he checked and double checked but he already knew. ROPS gray is only for the ROPS and that's why it's only available in spray cans. No quarts or gallons because only of one small dedicated use for the ROPS. That's also why it's called ROPS Gray.

Front end weights are painted Kubota Dark Gray, the same color as the frame and engine. Some were gloss and some were not. Almost all were gray, post 1989. Available in spray, quart and gallon.

I'm going with the Gloss Dark Gray just because, but if I painted one set Gloss Dark Gray and another ROPS gray, few of us would notice.

They are grey and I want to repaint some for an M7040. It could be Kubota ROPS Grey, Kubota Dark Grey Enamel or Kubota Dark Grey Semi-Gloss. Trouble is I don't know which and can't seem to find an answer. Does anyone know? It's important to me that I get the correct OEM color.

Six you probably wont like this but....
I have been looking for Kubota 55 lbs weights for a couple years on craigs list, nothing. Over this winter, I found (2) people selling 3 weights each. Bought a set for $100 and $125. You know what a dealer will charge for 6 weights, 2/3 times that. One set looked like an old Kubota blue and another grey. I like the old stuff, they are made right. Knowing they are going on an Kubota orange 3pt hitch, I painted them Kubota orange because of abrasions and scratches, should be hardly noticable.

Actually, I like them a lot, especially that weight. Around here, that weight sells for full price, assuming you can find any. Orange II is also a very good looking color so that's good too. We have some leeway with weights which is why I think it's OK for me too go rogue and paint a slightly different color.

How about a picture and arrangement of what they are going on? With weights that good looking, I'll bet the tractor is too.
