I discovered that I had a rattle can of the 00210 Dark Gray and went ahead and sprayed my weights, here they are.

That is a good looking tractor, from what I can see. Do you have more pics to post or have you posted some in another thread? What do you do with this and what is the tractor next to it?

The other tractor is my L4060. We have about 52 acres to take care of but I primarily use them to manage our neighbors land. She is an elderly widow and has around 500 acres split between woods and pastures. Most of the pastures we have in Argentine Bahia which is sold to a road construction company who cuts it as rolled sod and uses it to laydown next to the highways after they are paved.

Here are a couple of pics of the tractors, I will get a couple of pics of some of the pasture areas where I just finished bushogging some yesterday.

Those are fine Kubotas. Personally, I think the M7060, M7040 and M6800 models will go down as some of the best the company has ever made.

I got the correct bracket for the front of the tractor today by swapping with a neighbor. They had the bracket I needed and they will never use weights so it worked out. Here it is on tractor.

Here's the weight bracket that will now bolt on in front of the grille guard and allow me to add and subtract weights without having to take off the grille guard. I want to clean it up and paint it first.

This fits almost all the bigger "M" Kubotas. It's the grille guard support bracket, shown in the first photo, that may be different on other tractors.

If you ever go through the effort to repaint front weights, a few minutes with an electric grinder with a twisted wheel brush really pays off. I'm not far enough along yet to paint these, but when you do brush them spend the time to hit the Kubota logo. Paint and rust must start easily there and it really sharpens it up to be wire brushed.

Look at these weights as I got them and see the fuzzy logo.

Now look where I only quickly hit the logo with the wire brush. A good scrubbing and fresh paint will really make the logo and the whole weight just pop with appeal.

Didn't paint the weights yet but I do have the correct grill guard bracket on and the front weight bracket painted and bolted on. Kubota has a genius about them with the way the bracket nestles in between the grill guard bracket. It looks great, wastes no space and you can have both the grill guard and the weight bracket on at the same time and still put the loader on.

When the loader is off and tillage is on, it takes mere moments, and a strong back, to put on 800 lbs of weights. Check the last pic; life is good. :)
