Hope all is well in columbus, I lived there 4 yrs.

All is well here, chickens and cattle are happy, grass is starting to grow. The truck got a new starter, starter solenoid, oil change and all fluids checked and topped off today, it had a alternator belt squeaking when it started up, I got that good and tight and a new passenger side mirror, someone knocked my old one off last fall and I just now tracked down a replacement at advanced auto lol. I still want to change the tranny filter and change the transmission oil and the truck should be good for a long time.

That's been a super reliable truck and has pulled anything I hooked to it without any probs. I would like a newer truck but I'm broke lmao, the 4.9 has treated me very well. She has 130k miles on her now.

Take hard look at medium to large Grand L series Kubota. They have oversized frame compared to L and lots of features.

Also if you end up with the 2 series, if it was my tractor, I would get turf tires, 72in belly deck instead of the bush hog and pallet forks.

. Unless your running over small trees, I would prefer a 2000 rpm mid mount mower over a hard to maneuver rear mower.

I find it just the opposite I wont even waste my time hooking up the last belly mower I own. The rear discharge is far superior to it. Cuts faster, better and gets close to things much quicker and gets under trees without having to deal with getting slapped in the face with lower branches when you have trees you don't want to trim up high.
In short I wouldn't recommend a belly mower for anyone unless its a box store style lawn mower for a small lawn with nothing to cut close to.

I have only ran belly mowers but I can see your points.

I just figured 2000RPM on a mid PTO would cut faster than a 540 rear but like I said never ran one. I wouldn't want a belly mower on much bigger than a 2 series
