Good morning!!!!

Right now I'm without a ride. I'm all kinds of sad! I've got so many things going on. Can't ride until I get them under control.

I may as well be, too, CjR. My Wing has been sitting for a year. We've just had no time to ride during the house remodel. Things have not repaired themselves, of course, and now I just don't want to sink the money into a 32-year-old bike with key parts starting to get scarce. Better for me to just move on to something newer. Not sure if that'll happen this year or not. Just when I think she wants to wait, last week she sent me a link to an '06 she saw on Craigslist.
Women are curious things. :confused2:

Mine said nothing about my ride but keeps sweetly reminding me of things that need to be fixed.

This weekend I'll attempt to fix something I've been cussing the architect on for the last 7 years. He put a recess on the front door that exposes the downstairs floor to rain water on the door and makes it prone to water leaking through the ceiling. I am going to build a new wall 2 feet out and move the door to get rid of that issue. However, I can't get rid of the wall because it is a load bearing wall so I have to get creative with building shoes and umbrella closets to hide that fact.

Good morning. 46˚ this morning after a 90˚ day Monday afternoon. I don't agree with the fasting part of a Physical. You should be allowed to do what you normally do or the results are skewed.

Beautiful spring day with lots of sunshine, but with Buppies and my Dads experiences I will be wearing a big rim hat. No cap here, the ears need protection as much as the eyes and forehead.

Don, my wife says the reason for fasting is to get a consistent comparison, it will tell if you have bad habits, eat wrong or whatever, because your fasting numbers indicate your lifestyle. If your fasting glucose is 100-110 consistently, your A1C will be around 5.7-5.9. Same sort of linear relationship with BP, , etc... People eat different things at different times, so your numbers would be all over the place and not very comparable. So says Dr. Lynn.:D

They are here now, should be coming your way. Although reports from my fellows west of me, it's hammer time for them.

We are getting wind over the last hour, most of the storms have rotated north before getting here, so far.

farm diesel tank just ran out, 14 months on 250 gallons, price sure shot up, this time 1.89 for red diesel delivered vs 1.39 for the initial tank bought at apparently
the market low. Only one supplier in the area. Usage about what I expected. Hmmm, better go find the key for the lock on the tank...

rain just went over our heads, next town North, here just very blustery, wind chimes around house tinkling madly
Have now checked front porch chairs three times due to banging, turns out the neighbor's run down greenhouses are now even more run down.
The metal end of one was half loose and flailing against the rest of it. That won't last long...we have discussed it before, I have offered assistance with a tractor and was told
he had it under control. For sure....::rolleyes: The structure is a total anyway, since the last hurricane beat down three out of his four large greenhouses. Now parts of them fly by
once in a while...
Am headed out in UTV to check things out, see if I can take a picture of the greenhouse. Plenty far enough away for me. I also want to check on my nut trees, the wire cages are not secured
and sometimes move. And I have a bunch of sticks to pick up on the driveway.

Wife made me get out of bed last night to "rearrange" the rockers on the front porch, as one was tapping against the living room window. Winds here are definitely making a statement. I didn't see any serious limbs down when I left for work this morning, though.

I've had a few bikes over the years, but none lasted 25 years. Had a BMW R100RT, Suzuki 550GT (my only non-dresser), Yamaha XS1100S, and the current Honda 'Oldwing. I do still miss that BMW.

I have a '95 BMW R100RT I purchased two years ago. They're gonna have to pry it from my cold, dead hands...

Wind is howling here, too. First round of storms getting close, wife is off to the hairdresser so it can look just like it did when she left! :D I probably need to bungee the deck furniture. But I probably won't.
Gotta put the garbage cans out and hope they don't blow away.

Since I brought up the hairdresser thing, does anybody else's wife go to the beauty shop every week and get their hair done, and you can't tell the difference?

Whoo, I will not touch that one. I get in trouble just saying she looks nice after getting her hair done.

I've come to realize that when she's standing there silently staring at me, she's waiting for me to compliment her "new" hairdo. :confused3:

Mine was an '89 that I bought gently used in 1990. I only had it for a few years, then sold it when I had to downsize my life after a divorce. It's the one I truly miss. Great bike.

That said, I'll probably just get another Goldwing. I've become quite fond of that ride ... as has The Wife.

At my age I'd probably get a three wheeler, I'd have to decide which end I wanted the two on.

Randy are you trying to get some of us in trouble. Women and their hair are a sacred thing. If you say it looks good you are wrong lord knows what happens if you say it looks bad
