Does this DIY weed killer work?

Has anybody tried the Dawn, Epson Salt, vinegar DIY weed killer? Thought about trying it but why waste my time if someone already proved it doesn't work?

I have animals and creeping strangler vine. I cant use Round up, so I will try this stuff and see if it will get the jungle under control.

Likely to just kill the top of weeds like dandelions and thistle, weeds will be back in no time from the roots.

I have not found it to be successful, seems like weeds turned yellow for a few days then back to a deep healthy green.

I've had some success with just pure vinegar on my gravel drive.

It is non-selective though - which is why I used it. If you can get acetic acid in higher concentration, obviously that would be more effective.

I use vinegar with water at a half & half mixture for killing moss in my parking area. It seemed to work ok but I think I will try bleach next time. Maybe it will work better, that is if i can stand the smell of it.

I have used vinegar with mixed results. It will change ph of soil so nothing grows. Which I was ok with.

Vinegar worked for me if applied several times a few days apart, on hot days.

A test, looks like pure vinegar, not a mix.
