I was looking at North American edition in parts advisor not world wide. It showed that one in world wide edition.

I live in Ca. But bought the tractor from Minnesota. I called another JD dealer and he gave me the same part number you did (LVA16054). he also looked up the LVU800097 and the schematic showed magnets that can be ordered for that filter. The service manager said he would check into the situation and get back to me. Very strange that a 2016 model can have different part numbers or can be changed from the manual. ( part numbers are subject to change without notice, part numbers maybe different outside the USA)

This is what I found out about the trans/hydraulic filter. If you live in North America and tell the JD dealer you have a 2032R he will give you a LVA16054 and it won't fit your tractor. If the JD dealer looks under world wide he will give you a LVU800097 and it will fit your tractor. I went and looked at the other 2032R's on the lot and sure enough the filter is the same as mine. I had him pull both filters to compare side by side and the threads are different sizes. Because the tractor is a 2016 the dealers are not familiar with there being magnets in the filter. The manual says nothing about magnets or transferring them, so it's up to the owner if he feels it necessary. If other 2032R owners find out something different leave your feedback. I forgot to add that this is a HST unit.

That's just *** backwards that the North America number doesn't work! Of course it would be that way haha

We got in a couple 2038r today at dealer. I'll look tomorrow see if they are the same as this. I'm sure this will cause problems as everyone learns about it. Deere may change it in the system when you order that North America number it subs to the other.

What do you think about the 2038R, I was looking to buy one but did not have time to wait, looks like a lot of bells and whistles.

It's a new version tractor. I like the changes they did. Has a special key to open hood lol. You can push it like a button and it will open. Panels are easy to remove. Display is bright and nice. The mower belly deck isn't here yet so didn't get to install that yet. Drives nice. Seat is comfortable. I've noticed some small stuff that they changed. $30k loaded out. Has nice options. It will sell very well in our area

I looked up the parts on the 2038r and it showed the number I gave you. And on the 2038r it doesn't give you a North American or worldwide option. It goes straight to North America

If you look under your 2038R, what filter does it have on it, the longer LVU800097 or the shorter LVA16054?
