The seller's son said less then 1000 bales on it. The father said less than 3000.
CV shaft is the biggest bill on them. Blew it on ours, was going to be $1000 for a new one. Don't have a CV joint anymore.
Since deleting CV joint on your baler have you ever watched the chains & belts while turning with pto engaged? I tried operating my JD rd baler with CV deleted and the chains/belts flopped way too much in a hard turn to my liking so I bought a new CV tractor 1/2 of shaft. Do you realize that the baler end of the driveshaft & baler shafts speed up/slow down in a hard turn when no CV joint is utilized? I suppose if one baled in straight lines & turned pto off in sharp turns there would be no problem but I bale the old fashioned way round & round.

Yep, grew up on a farm in ohio. My dad still has cattle and I go help when I can.
Just listed on uship to see if I can get someone to haul it to ohio for me.
