Tractor
2015 New Holland Workmast 35
I am looking at a New Holland T1510. I need a trailer to haul the tractor, with brush hog attached, and with a bucket. The tractor weighs in at a little under 2500 lbs. I was thinking a typical dual 3500 lb axle 16ft trailer would work. Thoughts? Do I need something bigger?

Tractor Data says it is 111 inches (9.5ft) long. I'm guessing that does not account for the bucket but I'm not sure.

You could use a single axle trailer lol.

3500lb axle minus 2500lb tractor leaves 1000lbs for the trailer itself, I bet a 12ft would work, you minus the tongue weight also so 500lb tongue leaves 1500lbs on the total trailer weight which is plenty.

That being said the length of the bush hog will dictate the trailer size.

My buddy has a 16+2 (18ft) tandem 10k trailer, I like that size a lot for lots of different hauling. His trailer weighs 2750lbs empty.

Do you have a loader on the tractor? If not a 16ft should be plenty, I would bump it up to 10k axles though, shouldn't be that much more $ but makes a big diff hauling a heavier loads.

Trailers are like tractors;always up-size.I would bet with a FEL+tractor+bush-hog you are at least 18ft.

A dual axle 7000lb trailer should do the job. Trailer will weight around 2000lbs, so you have 5000 lb capacity. I think you will want a longer trailer than a 16'. I would go no shorter than 18'. Gives you a little room to make sure you get the trailer balances properly. Bush hogs stick out a long way, and legally it needs to be 100% on the trailer.

I haul my Branson 3510 on my 16' 7000# trailer.
Here it is with tiller and FEL on.
I built the Bulkhead on the front for hauling things like fridges that are tall and it works great for the bucket.
I do have electric brakes on the trailer and they worth every penny!

Everyone's needs differ... but mine are well covered by this 20' (16'+4' dove) deck over. Rated at 9990 lbs, it has illegally handled loads 3k lbs over that. My JD 3005, with loader and 5' brush hog fits, with the tail wheel sticking out the back about as far as the ramp legs do when on the up/travel position. I prefer deck over, fenders would get in my way for other purposes. I'll take slightly higher Center of gravity over fenders in the way for side loading.

This.

I wouldn't go any shorter than 18' to keep the FEL and the 3pt mower on the trailer's deck.

You're hanging the FEL over the front end of the trailer, and you're barely fitting the tiller on the back of the deck. The OP wants to haul his with a rear 3pt mower on it, which will stick off the back end of the tractor a considerable ways farther. 16' is too short for what he wants. 18' minimum, and actually a 20' would be more versatile.
