Thinking about replacing the cutter on my 1991 375. Seems you are really good at pulling up numbers so I thought I'd give you something to pass the time. Grin

I have sharpened (honed) the blade each season and it all seems to work ok sometimes with it set to max tension, but I miss cutting more than I would like. Any suggestions on what needs to be replaced would help.

Have you tried increasing twine tension a small amount to aid with twine cutting?? One needs to know if your baler has an adjustable twine guide in order to pick correct knife(key 7). Have you relocated all the shim washers(key 11) so as to be applying maximum pressure on knife? Is anvil(key 5) square with knife with no depression where twine contacts anvil? I choose the 1st knife just to determine the price. AE47760 Knife - ADD 48.91 USD

Super feedback (as usual) Jim. Thanks. Will work through what you said. At 50 bucks I can do a lot of tweaking for a minor inconvenience. My current blade is really sharp so my problem is probably the other things you said to check.
