If they Cured Aging, What Would Happen? What Would You do?

What would happen to the prison system and the prisoner who got "life"? We either couldn't support them all or would have to go back to more aggressive punishment as a deterrent.

Moral of the story: eternal life is not all it's cracked up to be.

I don't know about that... After all, a harem of the most beautiful women ?....and breakfast at every meal... That is tough to walk away from.

Don't give the aging cure until age 40, and at that point in time, you can't be convicted of any crimes that could give you life in prison. Should dwindle the overall population down very fast. If you go in the prision system at a young age, when you get out, can't be convicted of anything else for at least 5 years until you get the "cure".

Anyone remember "Logan's run"? Living for eternity can really bring up some issues you don't think about.

But, instead of dreaming of living forever, I'd rather dream about something else

I was at my grandmothers and mothers side when they left this world. Every dog I put down I was with until the the end as well. Ironic you can put the pets you love down in a humane way, but not with people you love. I can honestly say I don't want to live forever, and as I've gotten older, some of my priorities have changed, for the better I'd like to believe.
