power shuttle ?

IMHO the biggest advantage of a power shuttle is a wet clutch versus a dry clutch on a mechanical shift transmission. Should last longer. That is offset by the added electronics and complexity of the power shuttle. When I hit the lottery my last tractor will be a cabbed unit with power shuttle or power shift.

H.S.T. trans has always been the best option but I was looking for a loader that had around 2000 lbs. cap. I also wan't the least electronics possible cause my tractor sits outside under tarp and I do work my self. That puts me in the early 2000 area. I like tc45d,4720, and jd 110.Budget is around 20 for a cab less model.:confused3:

No electronics in my 2007 or 2016, no DEF either.

Older hip joints or knees are a couple I can think of.

I have Knee/ankle/foot and one hip that all give me problems. What I find is the clutch doesn't bother me but a single pedal on a HST will just about cripple me in a couple hours. A dual pedal HST is better but even that isn't nearly as good for me as a shuttle.

Paul do u have a loader on your dk 40 ?Wich one ? Do u Like it, any problems. I like KIoti doesn't seem to have to much unnecessary electrical crap. Only problem I see is when I look for older ones they are far and few inbetween.

I have pretty bad knees and have an HST in the shop so they brought me a power shuttle. I prefer the HST as the pedals are side by side (Mahindra 2555) and I hardly use the brakes unless I am on a hill. The Power Shuttle I am moving my legs/feet a lot more. After being in the cab for 4+ hours I can feel it in my legs (especially the knees) because of the clutch/brake.
