Tractor Dell, I notice that the gauge you mentioned in the first post goes to 3000 psi. What pressures are you expecting to see?
rScotty
According to the BX23s Specs, it should be between 1750 and 1850-ish psi. A lot of people bump it up to about 1950 or so. Just have to stay under 2k from everything I see and read on the BX tractors.

Yeah whats up with that, i just tried it, same problem here.
Well at least i posted a couple other links that takes you to the correct couplers at ZORO. com (see post #16)
Gall dangggggg, that female coupler is pricey....!!!!!! The male coupler is almost half the price.

Is one 5/8 connector the same at the next, if you are not worried about the thread size? I mean, as long as it connects to the male connector, you can probably find an adapter to get it on the hose. If so, here is a cheaper one that I see: Amazon.com: 5/8" SAE -1 Skid Steer Bobcat Flat Face Hydraulic Quick Connect Female Coupler: Industrial & Scientific

Well, i think i`ll be the devils advocate and pull the trigger on one of those couplers and see if i can make it work. Dell, your right, i believe you have to use the female coupler on a gauge to be able to plug it into the pressure side of the hydraulics. If thats the case, i dont see why it wouldnt work throughout the whole tractor whether its tested on the FEL manifold or the backhoe couplers at the rear of the tractor... meaning that the couplers are all internally the same size. It would be interesting to see the pressure results from every pressure port.

I could be totally wrong about this, but my guess the flow goes from the male connector to the female. Therefore, you would need to get the female connector and use that for the tester? I wonder if the female connector could also be used for the front? I would hate to think that Kubota used different connectors on the tractor.... but you never know.

I just hope that someone soon figures this out and lets the rest of us know! haha :)

Yes, i believe you are correct. Has to be the female coupler on the gauge.
Thank you for adding the link for that female coupler... i`m pullin the trigger on it... wish me luck...hahahaha

Let me know how you make out. If that coupler works for you, I am going to go the same route. :)

Dell, its on the way, it shipped monday morning. I`ll holler to ya when i get it all put together, and also list the pressure results. I`m hopeing it will work on ALL the ports, FEL & BH couplers. I ordered a cheap liquid filled gauge too. I didnt want to spend alot on the gauge until i know that it works, then i`ll buy a better gauge later.

Guy`s,
dosen`t the BX23S only have one hydraulic pump that runs the entire tractor...??? Is there any reason you couldn't test the pressure at the rear couplers that run the backhoe...??? Seems like its alot easier to test it there, and no manifold to worry about like the FEL has. I`ll get some pictures of the couplers, male & female ends and post them in here, there ARE parker part numbers stamped right in the couplers. As for the front loader manifold/couplers, i dont see any part numbers anywhere for just the couplers, they do say MADE IN INDIA though. Somebody somewhere has to have these flat faced couplers available. I dunno, maybe i`m not thinkin this thru to well... but its worth a shot.

Ok, i was not able to load the pictures of the couplers from my BX23S, but the coupler part numbers are:
I took these numbers right off the couplers at the backhoe, where the 3point hitch top mount is located.

PARKER
FEM-252-4FP-1076 (Male End)

PARKER
FEM-251-4FP-NL-1071 (Female End)

They look to be either 1/4 or 3/8 pipe threading (???) but i`m not good at guessing pipe thread sizes to well, unless they`re bolts...lol.

Anyways.... thoughts....?????

Found some couplers... better off getting the male end, its half the price of the female end (Go figure, females always cost more...lol)
Parker Coupler Body, 1/4-18, 1/4 In. Body, Steel FEM-251-4FP-NL | Zoro.com
Parker Coupler Nipple, 1/4-18, 1/4 In. Body, Steel FEM-252-4FP | Zoro.com

OK, I found the same numbers on my tractor. I also used https://www.discounthydraulichose.com/v/vspfiles/downloadables/qd_sizechart.pdf as a sizing chart and the male is less than the 3/8", so it has to be 1/4", which makes sense since Kubota uses 1/4" hydraulics on these tractors. So when I look at Amazon, I see these: Amazon.com: 1/4" NPT Flat Face Hydraulic Quick Connect Coupler Set w/ Dust Caps: Home Improvement. Going to order these, the hose, a gauge and an adapter to hook the gauge to the hose. Hopefully it all works. If not, at least Amazon takes it back! :)

I'm not sure if it helps you guys at all, but I know Parker makes the single lever quick coupler for Kubota. Its a Kubota design, and not a standard Parker part. I'd probably T it somewhere below the valve.

Which valve would you T into (???)
Any reason i couldn't just test it at the rear of the tractor, from one of the backhoe coupler`s...?
Seems much less of a hassle checking it at the backhoe due to the new FEL quik-attach 4-port manifold.

Dell,
i bought the coupler thru ZORO and this is the part number i bought FEM-251-4FP-NL-1071
I bought a liquid filled 3000psi gauge locally, my pressure @ full throttle is 1,700psi
I`m installing 2 shims to boost the pressure to 1,950psi. I`ll update you later.
