hyd problem on jd2030

I do believe you have to make your fittings and that thread is 3/8 NF and the gaugethread will be 1/4 bsp... add a hyd hose to your gauge for flexibility

I put my gage on one of the ports and got 1900# at idle. So the pump is working?

An adjustable bolt can be accessed under pump held in place by a jam nut so that hyd pressure can be raised to factory setting at 2250 psi

The treads on that bolt is a hair smaller. Would it be a metric tread

I never had a hyd pressure problem on this tractor, do I need to adjust it. Also if the pump is working how come I don't have fluid going to SCV.

You don't have to adjust stand-by pressure BUT JD engineers must have thought hyd system would operate better @ 2250 psi or they would have set stand-by at lower psi. Possibly pressure control valve is blocking flow to scv.

When I put new O rings in pressure valve I didn't see anything wrong in there. It was clean, spring looked good. I don't see how that can mess up. How do I diagnose that.

Ok this is what I did, I took off the pressure control valve outlet line going to the SCV. I put my gage on the line and started tractor. The gage read 1900# just like at the pump, so my thinking is the PCV is working correctly, you tell me if i'm wrong here.
Then I took my coupler off tractor, (I only have 2 hose connections). I connected my gage to one line and blocked off other line and started tractor, I had 1900# at gage when i worked lever. I then took of gage and put on other line and blanked off other line like before and started tractor, I don't have no pressure out of that line. Is my SCV bad or needs adjustment? Keep in mind I just bought this and its been rebuilt by a good company. Any suggestions?
