I live in a state that has a deposit return on cans and bottles. I don't bother with it myself, but when I see someone along the road picking up beer cans they get a garbage bag of returnables from me. I figure if they need the money bad enough to work for it, they deserve a little help. I don't ask what they do with the money and don't care, but a trash bag full is a big payday. They get 10 cents a can or bottle, so a trash bag full is worth at least $10, and can be worth $20 pretty easily.

It seams as though I have friends like you. I cruse the gravel road every few weeks for empties. Quite often I will find a few in my front yard by the mailbox. They are easy pickens.
