Dell,
i bought the coupler thru ZORO and this is the part number i bought FEM-251-4FP-NL-1071
I bought a liquid filled 3000psi gauge locally, my pressure @ full throttle is 1,700psi
I`m installing 2 shims to boost the pressure to 1,950psi. I`ll update you later.

Thanks! I ordered the 1/4" one from Summit Hydraulics, and it is supposed to arrive tomorrow. The gauge, hose and adapter arrived yesterday. Picked up the 3 shims yesterday. I spent more on gas driving there, then they cost. ;)

Did you use the backhoe connector to test with? That is where I am planning on doing it, if it works.

Ok, got all the pieces and here are the results:

Initial pressure:
Idle: 1800
2200 RPM: 1850
3000 RPM: 1850

After putting in .2 shim:
Idle: 1900
2200 RPM: 1950
3000 RPM: 1950

The factory had a .1 and .2 in it already. I initially put in a .2 and .1 but that took me just at 2k psi and I didn't like that. So I took the .1 out. I tested at both the FEL connectors and the backhoe, just to see if they were they same and they were. Now the tractor was sitting in 85 degree sunshine, but was not being worked. The fluid may thin out a bit as I use it, so the pressure may drop a little. At least it is easy for me to check now. :)

Dell, EXCELLENT.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ended up with the 2 and 1 shim to get 1950psi @ full throttle.

The BX uses a single hydraulic pump for the entire system, you don稚 have to check pressure at the FEL coupling. You can check it at the backhoe, or in my case I check it at the 3rd function connection on the loader arms.

Here are the parts I used (you can get either a male or female fitting depending where you want to check the pressure. I bought both for flexibility)

The gauge I bought from Amazon. It is a Winters Instruments 0-3000 psi with a 1/4 npt bottom mount. Cost $21.73

The fittings come from Valparaiso Hydraulic Services, Inc.. Female fitting part number is FFH04 14NPT F, cost $18.81. The male fitting is FFH04 14NPT M, cost $12.09.

Hope this has been helpful.
