New L5460 being delivered to the dealer after a month of waiting

Keep us posted on what you find out.

I have 3 rear remotes and all of them leak down making my HYD side link pretty useless without having to constantly adjust.

Hopefully your will be better.

I have 3 remotes on my MX5800 which also leak down. This occurs with the Kubota T&T cylinders as well as the ones from Fit Rite so it is definitely the valves. It isn't an issue with the top link but as you say, the side link is a real pain. As a result, I usually remove the side link cylinder unless I'm using an implement like a stone rake which requires it. It's easy to do on the MX since the side cylinder is attached to the lift arms with lynch pins and no tools are required. Unfortunately, this isn't true with L series tractors which use a threaded pin requiring the use of a wrench to remove.

This is also an issue when mounting a backhoe. Taking the 3 point on/off takes longer with an L-series than with the MX series.

I have been waiting on my L6060/backhoe/4n1 loader for what will be 8 weeks on Thursday. Dealer hopes to have it here and assembled by the end of next week. I am getting my tires filled and 600 lbs of wheel weight. 2 functions in the rear and a fiberglass canopy. I believe we deserve at least a hat for the wait.

8 weeks is painfully long. What item(s) are they waiting for?

I'm not sure about other L series tractors but when installing the BH 90 hoe on my old L3430, I could leave the side links attached to the lift arms. They would just hang there out of the way.

My M6040 has multiple width positions for the rear tires. I had them set at the widest and filled with Rimguard. This time of year my "lawns" are so hard - it would take a jackhammer to make a dent. I'm more concerned about stability than scuffing a little grass.

You don't need to remove the hyd side link, just unplug the rod end hose and it should be rock solid. ;)

I ordered my L6060 4 weeks ago. It shipped from Ohio and arrived at the dealer this week. The optional air ride seat is backordered though so I'm still waiting. Apparently, vinyl covered air seats for open station 60 series tractors are hard to come by these days. If this drags on much longer, I may decide to take delivery of the tractor with the stock spring seat and have the dealer install the air seat when it finally comes in.

In my case, the dealer promised me a jacket for the wait!

I am not sure why the wait difference. May be the combination of attachments/options. The jacket would be nice though, for the 67k I've invested, plus 2 months wait.

Considering the price you paid, you must have ordered a cab version. Mine is an open station model which, according to the dealer, is easier to come by. If I had wanted a cab model, he has 2 already on the lot. I'm told the size of the dealership can make a difference as well. The big guys seem to get preferential treatment. Still, 2 months is a long wait.
