Mahindra 2538 seat upgrade

The 2538 doesnt have a clutch just a brake on the left side to push in to start. I have been beside the tractor and mashed the brake with my hand to start it before, been a few times I needed to move the 3 point a little to hook up a bush hog but had already cut it off.

My 3016 has no seat safety switch. Never did. It did come with a clutch switch and a pto switch. I'm considering making the clutch switch disappear.

My 4035 has no safety switches. I start it from the ground all the time. There may be a safety on the HST or PTO so it won't start if something is engaged, but I have never pressed the HST go-pedal or turned on the PTO while trying to start, so I don't know for sure.

That's the same seat I have on my 4025. Very nice.

I have a 2540. The seat will indeed absorb gross indignities. Of course, being vinyl, you'll be sitting in a puddle of sweat unless you put a cover on it.

If it is like the seat I linked above, no puddles as it is built with a drain hole. Ya still sweat profusely, but the boys aren't floating in it...

Ordered the v5300 and bolted it on and man did that do the trick. My back thanks you guys for the suggestion.
