I'm in Oregon but just a bit south to get the full eclipse (98.7%).
We are supposed to have about 1 million visitors in the state in the coming weeks. That's a 25% increase to our population. Officials are starting to worry because there aren't enough resources to handle the surge of people. The traffic problem is also a concern, once the "event" is over, everyone is going to scramble to get home. My ranch is about 10 miles off of interstate 5 and while I know that will be busy I don't anticipate many people will wander out our way. Hopefully this is just a bunch of media hype and this whole thing goes by smoothly...
