Dropped here today to $2.22 - high was $2.59. Diesel hasn't though!

89 oct. $2.59 gallon diesel $2.65 gallon,dropping 2-3 cents a week.

Here in Cheney, WA it was $2.89 for regular, yesterday. But we are a college town - EWU - and gas prices are usually pretty high compared to Spokane.

Is our crude oil here in Ea WA from Alaska. Who knows - if you ask why our gas is so expensive - its because its refined over on the east coast and has to be trucked all the way across the continental United States. The oil coming down the pipeline - OH, well, that's sent to Saudi Arabia.

Personally, I think the entire situation is nothing more than a shell game.

So you are fairly certain that the fuel we receive here in Ea WA comes from the refineries in and around Ferndale??? I wonder why those that own/operate the service stations don't say that or at least acknowledge this........possible profiteering? Again, who knows?

I'm in no position to pass on pearls of wisdom - I'm just happy we have no fuel shortage.

Some but it goes up when anything happens. We also have one of the highest gas taxes in hte nation...and due to get another boost next summer. Most of this summer it was around $2.63 until the hurricanes hit.

This AM the wife paid $1.92 for regular and there didn't seem to be any stampede to get it. Now what?
