My First Real Tractor!

I think hoye has reduced their price, I was thinking that they were over $300 last I checked.

When I got my tractor it needed a new one and the seller (dealer) ended up replacing mine.

They may not fix exact and you may have to move some studs or get new nuts or something. My drain hose did not line up right so the hose is kinked a bit but it's a drain and not a big deal. There Chinese replacements but (the one I got years ago) there perfectly serviceable.

Got it! I'm on it! Stand by for updates. I'll start taking it apart tomorrow and order the parts tonight.

You should be good to go for a long time now. As has been said you do not need a water pump, yanmar designed them to work without one. Keep the antifreeve light as there intended to work with less antifreeze than a waterpump model.

Sounds good! Got it all torn apart today and changed my fuel filter and air filter too. Also drained the hydro/tranny and cleaned the mesh filter out. Was actually pretty clean! Hoye sent me the wrong seal for the PTO shaft though so I'll have to call them tomorrow. It's too small....? Radiator and stuff should be here Wed or so.

Thinking the seal should be 55x35x11.

Yeah I thought so too, that's what the box the new seal came in says. It's a hair too small though, fits over shaft perfectly but does not make it to the OD of the housing. It's clearly just a bit smaller than the one I removed.

Figured it out, wrong seal was in the correct box haha. I called and they were great about it and sending new one ASAP.

55x35x11 is correct. What are the numbers on the new seal? It is possible that the seal manufacturer put the wrong seal in the box. Did the seal you took out have any numbers on it?

EDIT: Haha.. we posted at the same time. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and we will get the correct seal out today.
