My steel rack started life as a man lift for a forklift. I guess that's still what it is but it gets used pretty sparingly. I've yet to figure out how to build enough steel racks that doesn't cost a fortune. I'm building another 4 rick steel rack that fits the back of my truck.

Worked on the pallet forks again last week for a bit...

Added 8lbs more steel to each of the forks. basically created a double I-beam or box beam

rust protection via the rustoleum safety blue and some D rings for picking up stuff.

Good looking unit. The blue is a nice touch.

I still need to figure out what it can lift. I stacked another pallet 40"wide by 48" long by 36 tall with a bunch of lumber scraps from my brothers construction company, picked it up just fine and it was heavy because square wood stacks tighter than round/split wood. I noticed the hydro-static steering would not move at a dead stop like others have mentioned on the bigger tractors. I then decided to go try and lift the 48" pallet of split wood and I could lift it 3-4 feet off the ground where as last week i couldn't lift it at all.

Mine has not had steering issues with a load. I do wish it would lift more though.

My LA524 loader which has a similar rating as yours can lift a thousand pounds of concrete 4 feet high but no higher. Keep in mind load placement makes a big difference.

I did cheat a bit... When I first got the tractor, I was unhappy with the FEL/loading the bucket to full performance, so I adjusted the relief valve half a turn. Made it much more capable at FEL work and so far been very happy with what I've able to pick up with the pallet forks.

Where are the relief valves located?

The valve that you adjust is located on the RH of the transaxle near the top, viewed from the rear. You'll see a block with allen headed screw with a lock nut on it.

A very nice build
