How to convert BX25 to SSQA?

I just picked up a real cherry 2013 BX25 with 92 hours on the clock, and being an older model it has a pin on loader bucket. I would like the option of dropping a SSQA bucket and mounting up a small grapple (Everything Attachments). So what is the easiest way to do this? I do weld, plasma, grind and do the typical garage work expected of a gear head / racer / off road kind of guy, so a weld on kit is totally fine by me.

I do already know that I'll need to have a 3rd function kit added, I guess that may be a dealership job being that I know less than nothing about hydraulics on a tractor.

I saw on Amazon that I can buy a weld on kit to convert my OEM pin on bucket to a SSQA style bucket, is there a better way or is fabricating from a kit the best option?

Thank you. That is a simple one stop conversion, likely equal to a factory SSQA on a new unit.

Look at MyTractorTools.com for his Tach-N-Go adapter. They are not SSQA, but work with the pin style buckets. He has forks set ups, and grapples for the BX units. Look at the weights of attachments you want to use on the FEL and the BX's lifting capacity. I have a Tach-N-Go for my BX2230 and a set of forks (that can also be used on the 3pt). Love them. No need for a grapple yet, but like the idea of them. I think others on TBN have some of the grapples.

Yea, we went out today and used the hoe to break dirt lose and turned to use the loader to lift it, the loader is weak. Real weak. What a disappointment.

We started the morning with changing all fluids and filters, then went to play. I'm not impressed.

My BX will easily lift a bucket full of dirt or gravel, so I wouldn't call it weak.

What does yours not do that you expected?

Likewise, mine will lft any dirt/rocks I can put in it.

The first thing I would check it the hydraulic pressure. Make sure it is within spec, or even bump it up to 1950 psi or so.
