Check your engine oil level. If the hydraulic pump is driven off the engine it may be leaking into the crankcase? Search for the several threads already covering this phenomenon.

Why? It's not likely to harm the engine much if at all. It's not super uncommon for a leaky injector to end up filling a crank case with diesel to no long-term damage. And hydraulic oil lubricated better than diesel...

I've seen a crankshaft seal blown out due to overfilling. Not a big deal, a ten-dollar part, but it's a bit of a thing to get to. And it may soak the clutch with oil.

"tomorrow" was yesterday. Any update?

1/4 of a quart is a mere cup of fluid. Thats not alot in a 2-week period but that depends on how many hours you put on that machine in the 2-weeks.

If this thing was used for 50-60 hours in 2 weeks....it very well could be leaking somewhere out in the field and given the small amount of loss....you'd likely never see it.

But if that was over 4 or 5 hours of use....yea that adds up quick. And if it is indeed going into the crankcase....that is something that needs addressed.

sorry for the delay... was using it all day yesterday..rained out today. crankcase oil level was fine and did not look abnormal.. no sign whatsoever of leak underneath anywhere.. im keeping an eye on it for a bit longer before going to dealer. I am parking it with cardboard under also......and yes, it could be while im using it. I was driving alot on pavement yesterday while it was raining and never saw any sign of a sheen of oil...you know how a small drop will look like alot on wet pavement.
