Looks like I'll move forward with the MX if I can unload the B3200 first. I know one or two people in this thread asked about it. I believe I messaged you - if not, please shoot me a direct message. For some reason the website isn't telling me if I get a new message, but I try to check it a few times a day now.

Curious - what are people using to remove snow with these size machines? (Not counting a 3 point blower).

I got a price on a snow blade and then to add the hydraulic angle and ouch!

I got a 7.5' meyer truck plow.

I take my pallet forks off the fork frame and put brackets on the ssqa fork frame to hook up the plow just like you would to a truck, still using a chain lift for float. Got front hydraulics via a diverter cause I also have a grapple. This is how I angle.

Used truck plows.....plow only......seem to sell for $200 or so in good enough condition to do a driveway for many many years.

But......given the winters of the last two years, it really hasnt had much of a workout. But I dont anticipate any issues at all. My smaller kubota L3400 that I had for the last 11 years before getting the MX, I used a 7' rear blade. And that was just about unstoppable in the snow. But not much in the way of hills either.

7' rear HD blade. Plow about 3/4 mile with it without any problems. The front blade would be nicer however!

i use the rear blade on my B3200 and it works pretty good. Problem is that my current blade is 72".

I had a few more random thoughts jump in my head this morning....

Kubota's website states: "Overall height (w/Foldable ROPS) - 95.7" - I am assuming this is with the ROPS in the upright position? Then you can fold the ROPS to get through a standard 8' tall garage door?

With the wheels turned so that the tires are as wide as they can get...I wonder if I can still get all 3 sets of wheel weights on there?

Don't know the actual height because my rops is always down, but no issue with an 8' door.

I modified 6 enfo weights. Got 3 per side and they fit with my tires at their widest. Don't know about other weights

Only the first rear weight bolts to the wheel. The next sets bolt to the prior weight. You could put 10 sets on.

For front end weights, here's a pic.

Sixdogs - After seeing your front weights - should I consider those to stick to the slopes (driving across, not up and down) in addition to the loader? Or is the loader fine and just pick up some weight in the bucket? That's pretty much what I do now with my B.

Would anyone mind measuring the length of your MX, with the loader bucket on the ground? I'd really like to know the overall length of the machine with the bucket and a rotary cutter behind it to see how things fit in my barn.

For counter weights, my practice in the past is that my mower has worked for a counter weight and I leave it on pretty much all summer. Do any of you guys switch to a ballast box? Or a home made one? I've always thought the mower is fine, other than it hangs out there a bit. (remember, I'm looking to lift a 1 ton pallet of wood pellets just a couple times a year, low and slow)

Lastly, after everyone recommended buying used SSQA forks, I have not seen anything on Craigslist...nothing remotely close to me has even come up...surprising. Are they are to find, or am I better off just getting new and rolling it into the financing?

Good used SSQA forks are very difficult to find used down here in NC. I got lucky and bought a pair last year. Found them the day they came up on Craigslist and bought them the same day. Seller told me he had others coming to get them if I didn't. If you need them now I would go ahead and bite the bullet with new.
