Was looking to buy a Kioti CK2610 but just got the word still no mid mount mower, so

I'm in the minority here; I like a good riding mower, and for $3000 you can get a nice one! Much better to have a two-machine solution rather than compromising by having one machine do it all.

When I bought my tractor (CK2510) I thought I wanted a MMM but there wasn't one available yet, but I got the mid pto installed just for that reason. Fast forward a couple years and even though one is now available (for about $3000.00) I figured out that my tractor is just to heavy to be on my yard every week cutting the grass, so when the tranny went bad in my craftsman rider I bought an Ariens zero turn and couldn't be happier! :2cents: YMMV

Hey my dream is a tractor for every implement of my dreams and other self powered speciality machines and the land and barns to keep them in.

We paid $1250 for the Bush Hog brand 2005 that needed a new belt a few weeks ago. We paid $2200 for a commercial grade Exmark 54" cut this summer.

New can be a good option for those with the cash and plan to need it for years to come or plan to pass them down to family.

Years ago the story goes a farmer was not cash flowing so the lender came out to the farm and found the guy had three tractors and he was the only tractor driver. When it was suggested he sell one or two he said then he would have to hitch and unhitch implements.

In the end each has to make these decisions in a way that works best for them and ignore the rest of ideas.

In all the threads I have read here I can’t recall many where people sing the praise of a mid mount mower. Seems they tolerate them to mow with and what to think they are awesome but really just work ok

I’d go with a rear mount finish mower before I tried the MMM but I haven’t used either so it’s reallh an uneduacated opinion

Got the word from the boss that we are NOT owning 2 tractors and don't have room to put another tractor in the barn. Finish mower works outside a fence but I've tried to use a finish mower inside a fence and its just not a good fit. Therefore, I think I'm going to get a Kioti CK2510 with drive over mower and FEL

Consider LS. They have a mid mount mower on a good size tractor.

I own a Kioti CK25 and I wouldn't mow with it. Too heavy. Just compacts the lawn too much.

The best mower tractor: John Deere X700 series with all wheel steer. Excellent mower and OK for smaller rear implements. Not a loader tractor though. Tough to find one do-it-all machine. The BX and smaller B-series Kubotas, and the JD 1-series are a good compromise. The JD 2032R is really nice, but I think that's tier 4.

Mahindra Max might also have some options.

I don't have an LS dealer very close to me. The boss is saying one machine for everything so I think the CK2510 is a good compromise. Now I have to wait until Kioti runs free loader or free mower. The wait is gonna kill me.
