Well then explain why GM truck sales keep dropping month after momth? And Ford truck sales are still on the rise?

Unlike you, i am not blindly biased, I test drove a Ford and found out why they are a superior truck. Afm is garbage, the proof is in the pudding.

I don't think your link(s) worked.haha I get your apprehensiveness over the AFM, it has had many problems. You really won't go wrong with the 2.7 ecoboost if that's the engine you end up choosing. It's also the engine Ford ran in the Baja race I believe.

Agree. We had a Ford E250 van, Express 2500, replaced with a Transit with 3.5EB.

The EcoBoost got much better mileage unloaded, and had much more power towing 5-7,000 lbs.

The van Market is mostly work truck and fleet trucks (you don’t see any “King Ranch” vans!) and the 3.5EB has become the engine of choice for towing. They are selling very few diesels in the T250/350 market.

Umm....the truck receiver hitch is only rated that much if WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION is used? **** even my old 7.3 F250 was only rated 500/5000 no weight distribution and 1000/10000 with weight distribution. I get the ball and drawbar are he has are rated the right weight. Why didn't he show the sticker on the truck hitch?

He missed a bunch of critical points. He is no doubt illegal on total weight towed with a weight carrying hitch, tongue weight with a weight carrying hitch, and likely illegal on RGAWR and GVWR of the truck. He said the trailer is around ~10K but indicated he doesn't go over 11.7K. So he likely runs tongue weights up to 1,200 pounds or more. 1,200 pounds with a weight carrying hitch adds about 1,700 to the rear axle. He doesn't even know what a weight distribution hitch is! Not the guy I would take advice from for towing.
