Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Pictures of your snow weapons

I saw someone on the forum make a snow pusher out of their FEL. So following their approach I also tried my hand at making a snow pusher by adding wings to my bucket. Also added some shoes to the front end hoping to help from digging into the gravel drive. Haven't had any snow yet to try it out but it's mounted and I'm waiting for the snow to come. I also run a box blade on the rear.

I like that setup. What size plat and angle iron did you use? I think I'm going to build this for my tractor.

The angle is 2"x2"x3/16" and the plate is 3/16"

Alright guys need advice.

I just picked this up today: IMG_9307.JPGIMG_9306.JPGIMG_9305.JPG

Just the blade and no brackets.

I found the bracket on amazon for $308 Amazon.com: Snowsport 4113 SnowSport HD Utility Plow Mount: Automotive

So my question is would it be better on the FEL or rear?

Should I buy their bracket which kinda floats or just build a solid one myself?

I have pallet forks, I could take the forks off and mount a receiver to that for their system or make something for the quick attach on the FEL itself. Thanks

John, I would ....... return it. Sorry, you'd be better off with a simple rear blade. At least it can be angled.
I don't mean to be a di*k but all you really have is an light aluminum "moldboard". You should be able to find an old pu truck blade for close to that money that imo will serve you better with the angling and tripping action already built in. I am assuming that you would want these 2 features and I apologize if I'm wrong. At that point I'd just hang it from the rear 3pt. in some fashion with limited added tractor influence (weight), that looks like what they intended from the amazon pics in your link. I think you'd destroy it with the loaders weight imposed on it even in "float".

I gave $80 for the blade, I have a buddy that’s a journeyman ironworker that’s gonna fab me up a bracket to mount it to the FEL and I’ll try it this winter, if it doesn’t work well I’ll sell it, total I might have like $300 in the outfit.

I get this thing may not do as good of a job as a metal blade, it just will clear the bulk of the snow, but being the rubber edge is so big it won’t damage turf or uneven surfaces. But idk, I’m not saying your wrong just I’m willing to give it a try.

Angling is a must, he will make sure the blade angles also.

My new to me Kubota B2650 outfitted with a 63" Snowblower, drift cutters, hydraulic chute rotation, hydraulic chute deflection, and interchangeable (not shown, forgot to take a picture when I had it on) 72" quick hitch mounted plow with trip and hydraulic angle.
