I upgraded from my previous LS XR4046HC to a new LS XR4155HC last week. So now I have 55HP and 44HP at PTO. My dealer thinks that LS understates their PTO HP.
The XR4046HC had 46HP and 37HP at PTO so I was considering the
WoodMaxx FM78H since it required 30 HP and I had rear remotes.
The new XR4155 has 3 remotes and a CAT 2 on the 3-point hitch. I’m now investigating the
WoodMaxx FM88H which specifies 50 HP. My pastures are all good grass so, I would not be trying to run over large brush.
I have an 8’ Bush Hog dual spindle cutter that I use on anything difficult or larger diameter.
Any reason to believe that the FM88H would be too much for me? I’m thinking Y knives also. How much does knife type affect torque requirements?

I tried using
WoodMaxx chat a couple of days ago and it was having issues, it would just shut down in the middle of a conversation.
I’m going to call them early next week to discuss my 6HP deficiency? If my 44HP at PTO is understated and
WoodMaxx HP requirements are conservative I should be okay?
Any opinions out there from seasoned Flail Nation users?
Thanks in advance!
