stupid question - bucket removal

Not that it makes a difference on the release pins but compared to my loader release handles yours are bent back. I sometimes have a problem when I disengage an attachment the levers seem to go over center and the round latching pins come out of the holes and cock sidewise. I've learned not to let the handle over center. Pics attached of yours and mine.

Wow! Handles in photo #1 really do look bent. It really changes the angle of release.

If OP’s arms have always been this way, a visit to Dealer is in order.

Yes, those bent arms would not allow very much leverage for the pin release. Give the Dealer a call...

I have the opposite problem with my bucket, but not on the pallet forks. Both come off easy. But hooking the bucket back up by myself is really hard. The left side handle just drops on it's own before I can get the arms in place. Seems like it will stay up just fine, but as soon as I get back to the seat, plop, left handle is in down position.

I don't switch all that much so no big deal. Assuming I can just tighten some bolts on the handle to give a little more friction so the handle stays in the up and unlocked position until I move it. Otherwise, bungee....

But would the opposite help OP any? Could he loosen a tiny little bit for more free play?

Certainly a loose bolt in your situation.

the handles should stay in place when lifted, I also noticed I had a loose bolt so I took a quick video of it and tightened it down.

Thanks for the video. Yours looked just as free after tightening, but might be more of a feel thing which the video can't capture.

I don't really let my tractor just sit at low RPM idle, but it does have lots of vibration in the lower RPM range. I've already shaken lost the warning triangle, the oil dipstick won't stay fully seated even with a bungee, indicator lights on ROPS brackets keep coming loose, and this lever has loosened up. Really has me concerned something much more important is shaking loose.

Wow....I have 300 hrs on my tractor, none of these issues, and no vibrations at low or high rpm. Sounds like you may have a serious issue. Definitely need to have this checked out before anything worse happens. Don't want to sound like an alarmist, but vibrations bad enough to cause these issues need to be fixed asap.

Thanks for all the feed back!! It's definitely been a pain since day one and I didn't really even use it that day. It was delivered just before dark and i drove it around a little and then went to swap the bucket for the pallet fork to put the tractor away. I'm getting a ratchet rake tomorrow so I hope to try it out in the next day or two. Might be delayed as we just had baby #3 and they are coming home tomorrow as well. I'll take better pictures, both of the pins and were they set locking in the bucket.

I do not have any problems with my Global QA, but my son has the SSQA and that had that same issue. I sprayed all the SSQA parts with Fluid Film. No more problems. Smooth as butter.
