Interesting, maybe i'll try that. I'll also give the dealer a call about the bend in the arms.

Here are some pictures I took today. I can get the bucket on with no trouble, and I can get the bucket off if I try right after putting it on. But once I do anything with the bucket, the arms are stiff/locked in place. The pictures are right after putting it on.

take your bucket off and look at the end of the rod with the levers down and see if they have worn a lip into them from using the bucket. Another thought is, when you are using the bucket, it must be putting extra pressure on the release rods which is why you can get it off right after putting it on and maybe if you use the loader to push down on the tip of your bucket before taking it off will help?

also looking at those pictures, you might want to grease those pins up with some Moly grease. The xj2025 SSQA has zerks

That has to be the LAMEST thing ever! How could those bent arms ever get past any Dealer? They must have had a pimple-faced trainee beating on those handles with a sledge hammer.

If your Dealer is not willing to make that right immediately then find another one pronto. Disgraceful!

chsdiyer, as someone else pointed out, your latch arms are bent too much towards the front of the tractor. They should be parrellel to the backside of the bucket. I think you need to also check the workings where these latch arms attach to the latch pins. Something is not right. I switch between my bucket and fork lifts frequently...several times just today. This procedure should work easily without any strain on equipment or operator.

The position of the handle has little to do with the ease of moving the pin. The pin is controlled by the hinged lever with spring assist to hold it in the fastened position. That hinge doesn't know or care what the position of the handle is in.

The OP has already stated that it unlatches with little resistance on his forks. So the problem is in the matching of the SSQA frame and the bucket frame. Maybe the bucket isn't built right? How about dropping the bucket off the FEL and then using an angle finder measure the angle of the SSQA frame face at the left side and then right side and see if they match? A difference will tell you the bucket is built twisted.

If you have a smart phone you can download an Angle Finder App that will provide the tool for this measurement.

A further comment. After studying your pics it's obvious you have no way to grease the pins. My pins slide thru a sleeve with a grease zerk. Keeping them greased helps. You might try some type of dry lubricant such as a Teflon based spray.

Have you tried lubing all the linkages. From your pics in post 41 I don't see any grease or lube on the pins.

chydiyer, below is a diagram of a LS QA. Please note that the bottom of the latch pin is beveled and should be facing directly 180 degrees to long horizontal axis of the bucket. If the entire latch handle/latch pin assembly is turned too much to one side (as could be the case from looking at your picture), then the latch pin is having to be forced into the slot against an unbeveled edge. If the entire assembly is correctly positioned except for the handle being bent out too much forward (which could also be the case from your picture), then you are having to apply too much force because the force is not true to the point of connection of the latch handle and the latch pin link/pin. Both the QA and the bucket, and most implements for that matter, are designed to have some side to side and up and down play. I guess your bucket, QA, or both could be sadly out of whack, but I truly believe the problem is with the latch assemblies. I also agree with other posters....you need to get some lube on all points of contact. Looks like your bare metal to bare metal.

His pins appear to fit the bucket tabs very well. The fact that one unlatches fine and one does not indicates a slight misalignment. This is probably in the construction of the bucket based on the fact his forks work fine.

His pins may fit the bucket a little to tight making it difficult to unlatch.
Most of my SSQA attachments I have gotten over the years have required some grinding where the pins latch into it for smooth latching/unlatching.
