Now I go to the frumpy old lady department at Kohls.
Been there...done that! Now I just let her do her own shopping....I'm lucky....she is happy just wearing the cloths she accumulated when she was working.

When we were dating, my wife's prized possession was her little S-10 truck. It had gotten up to about 100k miles and wasn't riding too smooth, so for Christmas, I got her a new set of premium SHOCKS! All four!

It was really intended as a combination of a gag gift and practical, but I still hear about it every year, now going on 25 yrs.

My wife's new work gloves should come in the mail today and she is thrilled. It is very important to keep my best worker happy!

I got my wife a pair of insulated driving gloves for our 10thy anniversary, she loved them as her old pair went missing.

As far as lingerie goes, she's not much into that either. We almost always sleep in our birthday suits. I somehow doubt a flannel nightgown one size too big would go over very well...not good to imply your lady is fat.

Ah, but that's not what I said. I said "pyjamas".

Think of them as comfortable 'lounging around in the evening' wear, like you would in sweat-pants (tracky-daks).

A lady-friend that I buy for is a size 8 (whatever that means) who asked that I get them in a size 10. What she actually wears to bed is another thing entirely.

Clearly a difference in naming conventions between the U.S. & Australia. Here pajamas are something you wear to bed.
