The Frustrations Of Rural Internet AND Netflix

Kind of makes you wonder what happened to all the millions of dollars that was being invested to make sure everyone in the US has "high Speed" internet......

According to the maps, we have "high speed internet" available. Our options are satellite or cellular data. There is no fiber or DSL available.

I am very close to making a change. Can't stand the constant outages and slow downs. Now that I am working from home, it's unacceptable to lose work because I get kicked out of the network from a signal loss. Looking at LTE whole house service. I can get an unlimited data plan for $99 per month which includes a whole house wireless LTE router. No data caps or throttling.

Makes me think it's time to drop Dish and convert to Sling or DishNow as well. I'm getting tired of crap service.

Would you mind providing a link to this plan? I would be very interested....

WELL! I must say that Grey Bruce Tel, is working well. It's Christmas, there are blizzards raging outside and not one interruption in streaming video. Now if someone could just get me off the fence on this whole flat earth craze, I could watch something more entertaining!

You are a bit north of me, judging by the GBtel coverage area....I am down between Hanover and Durham.....We have a similar small wireless provider here now (Eh-Tel)....Had it for a few months now, working great, even in this snowstorm we are having at the moment.

Half way between Markdale and Durham as the crow flies. They (EhTel) approached me to use my tower. There was some back and forth, and then I never heard from them again. They wanted access forever without a good contract. I suggested I give them six months notice if the place was sold, and suggested probably a new owner would be on board anyway. I guess they didn't like that.

I would be curious about their level of service in all regards.

Sometimes I think, they all give you Massive bandwidth and priority for the first few weeks, so you have this mindset of, oh how much better this is.

I don't know if this will work for you, I have ordered one for myself. They apparently work anywhere in the world. 30 mile range or more with a booster. I did a lot of research and it seems quite genuine.
If you watch movies it is the way to go. ᐅ TvFox Antenna a Scam? Read The Unbiased Review Here 217. No internet required.

Only 30? Many of those cheap little walkie talkie sets will do 40! lol

Distance depends on the frequency transmitted. Higher frequencies, less distance but a booster is available. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Simple. I really don't understand why you made that comment. It applies to nearly every thing. Cellphones are not likely to even approach that but I bet you have one?
