Not going to be a good night. Furnace has stopped working. Got gas logs in wood stove running at max setting. House is at 67° and holding.
Outside temperature is -13° and falling.

We should be OK. We heated whole house with this stove for years before we put gas logs in. Have 2 electric quartz heaters running on far ends of house.

Probably thermocouple. Exhaust fan comes on. Igniter comes on for a few seconds. Then system shuts down.

Sadamo, don't forget to add the weight of x number of people. Neighbors had a deck (5' high) that a group was on taking a pic when it collapsed. All the ambulances in the county were called, 2 went to the hospital. I was on the half that did not collapse. The neighbors were all friends and did not want to sue the homeowner, but that could not be said for the medical insurance companies. Everyone is still friends except for the one that got injured the worst, she died, but not from the fall.

Excellent point Don. Entry is from the bedroom, next to bath so don’t figure it would see much traffic, but maybe I should put some clause in the rental agreement limiting it to two people. If I should find people abusing it I’d put the barrier back at the doorway preventing entry.

Good morning, 1C/30F and a light covering of snow this morning, with the lady on the radio promising more snow tomorrow. Jackson Hole is looking pretty quiet.

What a dumb *****. Turn on gas, both burners ........ run his mouth ........ then stick lighter near gas?

My thoughts too, wouldn't be surprised if he tries it on his tongue in the next video.

Does the arc/spark stay on continuously or just momentary? Can you hold the button down for continuous arc?

The arc keeps going when the button is pressed, up to a max of 10 seconds. I haven't tried it with my propane torch yet but I'd be really surprised if it didn't work instantly ( Wngsprd, do you think our commission on this lighter will beat the 3M dust masks ?).
