L4N, feel better. Bet you got your cold from kids. Tis the season.

wash hands a lot, whatever you touch in public is likely to be crawling with germs.

All my kids except for the eldest have a leg in each corner. 7 cats and 1 Puglet.

Kyle may be the winner, it was 1971 for me, I was on my way back to NC to pick up my car that was supposed to be in Vallejo when I got back. I got on the wrong bus, the local instead of the express, Stopped in every little pig trai, but saw some pretty sights. Managed a transfer at Ft Collins and got an express that only stopped in major cities.
Was never there on purpose.

Any body know if proform treadmill is any good? Costco has it $200 off.
Son was on ours today and said it zapped him when lowering the speed, now buttons dont work. Display comes on, but start and speed and elevate dont work. I already know parts arent available. Was a commercial one, lasted a long time. My wife uses it daily.

Santa brought me a usb rechargeable high frequency/high voltage fire lighter. Amazon.com: Tacklife ELY1 Advanced Electric-Arc Lighter USB Rechargeable No Spark & Smell Front Flexible Elbow 36degRotation More than 1 Times Spark per Charge with Safety Switch & Windproof for BBQ, Camping: Home Improvement
I hadn't realised such things existed and was a little sceptical at first, however the mean looking plasma arc easily lights the paper to start the woodburner each morning and it should be wind proof for outside use. Only downside I can think of is what would happen if somehow it got turned on when I slip it into the pocket off my jeans

Does the arc/spark stay on continuously or just momentary? Can you hold the button down for continuous arc? This guy seems to have a problem with the lighter and propane:

That Trex is heavy, plus the railing, will you have support post to the ground on the outer edge?

A valid concern Don, and possible to add some posts, but don’t anticipate a problem. The beam is supported by 4x6 struts reinforced by 2x4 braces. The cantilevered deck extends about 30% beyond the beam and is lag bolted with 20 1/2x6 SS lags to the 4x6 cottage beam. The joists are mounted with Simpson hangars and will be tied to the beam with Simpson hurricane ties. Only 3 Trex boards at most beyond the beam. Most likely the railing will be Aluminum, not heavy.

Sadamo, don't forget to add the weight of x number of people. Neighbors had a deck (5' high) that a group was on taking a pic when it collapsed. All the ambulances in the county were called, 2 went to the hospital. I was on the half that did not collapse. The neighbors were all friends and did not want to sue the homeowner, but that could not be said for the medical insurance companies. Everyone is still friends except for the one that got injured the worst, she died, but not from the fall.
