Ideas for an eMax 22 snow pusher?

Has anyone put a snow pusher on the front of their eMax 22? The std front loader bucket on my tractor mounts to 3 points that has the single hydraulic cylinder in the middle for tilt. The dealer 60 miles away said he could order a snow pusher that mounts to the universal skid steer. From what I can tell the eMax 22 does not have a universal skid steer. Can anyone shed any light on what is needed?

A heavier tractor for one. Snow pushers gather a lot of weight. I do not know if i would consider anything over 48" wide for your tractor. The buckets on these things are so shallow, I simply rigged up sides for my bucket on the 3016. Grand total of $50. It is 60" wide and has cut my plow time considerably.

See if this will work for you first. Otherwise a lot of folks get a rear blade for the 3 pt.
If you have your heart set on the front blade I’m sure someone will chime in on the bucket attachment.

Thanks! That looks like the way to go. The front sides you made look like they would also help keep the bucket from digging up the ground. :thumbsup:

With most FEL joysticks, you push it forward into the float detent position. I suppose it's possible due the the eMax22 being an "economy" model that the loader controls might not have a float position...check your owners manual or perhaps another eMax owner can chime in.

Push the stick up as if you were dropping the bucket. Push more and there's a detent that holds it up. Right there is the bucket float.

As long as you have the bucket leveled it will ride the contour as you move.

I have a 2017 E-max 22 and the front loader has float position. Like said before, push it all the way forward and it should catch and be in float position

Perfect! :thumbsup: Thanks for the help guys. I'll make up extended sides/skids and post some pictures when done. Also I'll see if I can make it in such a way the bucket rides in the dump position to act more like a pusher and not need dumping.

If the sides are long enough, you won't have to dump. I don't on mine unless i have a real long run and want to gather all the snow in one shot. As I stated before, the buckets Mahindra uses on their stuff are of limited capacity. This shallowness is your friend when rigging up a pusher.
I pick up logs with forks on the bucket. The pusher sides are resting on my log forks which have the added benefit of preventing dig in. I'm a believer of "one bolt" on and off's. (well the forks are held on with two but the pusher sides are held on with only one)
