woke up to howling winds in middle of night, amazed power is still on.
We have about four inches of snow here, the equivalent of two feet elsewhere.
This snow will get talked about for a long time.

Good morning all, 22 this morning going to 26 with a low of 7 tonight. Wind gusts of up to 30 mph tonight and friday so we could get wind chills of -33. Wife went shopping yesterday so I watched the boy and mom and did not get out to the shop. Maybe today.

That storm looks nasty, all of you in it's path be careful, prayers sent.

22 high of 26 winds in excess of 30 mph very cold wind chills thru Friday at least. Not one flake here just cold and wind. Hopefully finish putting up Christmas decorations

5F now low 20's for high... still heck of a lot warm than last several days.

Snow starts falling soon 3-6 inch winds will howl for time,least the plow hook to pickup and gas up this time.

Mid 20s wind sustained around 30 mph with gusts over 60. Why we haven’t lost
power I don’t know. No idea how much snow we have but they updated our total to 9”-14”. Near 0 temps next two nights, -2 predicted. High in the teens over the weekend. No clue how deep drifts are, or how I’m going to get out to feed those cats.

drinking first cup of coffee. 6° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 7° with some sun. Got enough snow yesterday that I need to clean walkways today. Shopping trip went well. I see wife has a list for Sams Club. May get that done this morning. Taking down Christmas decorations and putting they away should be enough for today.

Glad I cut more firewood yesterday and filled the rack on the side porch.

Been listening to the local news...Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel closed...Amtrak cancelled...icebreaker ship working to clear a path across the Chesapeake Bay to Tangier Island...big power outages...major water main break in Petersburg...I feel lucky here.

Seems we have more illness and health problems than ever here in the TBN "family"...prayers for all.

Think I'll mostly stay in today and work on a project for my wife...I pay all the bills (or have them set as auto-pay), do all the finances, and therefore know all the websites, account numbers, due dates, passwords, etc. I'm going to create a spreadsheet that has all the pertinent info. Then I'm going to create a "Favorites" file on her laptop browser with shortcuts to make it easy for her to click on them. Will try to get finished before she gets home. Then will have her go to each website to get familiar.

Going to get bundled up really well, will start with blowing, then snow pushing, and finally a reward
of doing some donuts in the golf cart.

That's a great idea, wngsprd. I did that a while back, for myself and my wife. My issue was using so many laptops and mobile devices some of the web sites would cache and challenge you if you move from device to device. But yes, it makes it so much easier.

Looking out the windows here, in NYC, all I see is sideways snow. Lots of salt trucks moving on the highways. Speeds are noticeably slowed.
Heard local airports have cancelled close to 90 percent of their flights.

Last nights drug run to the store was interesting. Lines 20 people deep, but moving. Pace is a lot quicker up here. I saw one guy in line with an ice cream and a frozen pizza. Guess he had time to burn. LOL.
