My pin came part way out. The bolt that held in in was missing. Think I broke the bolt off on a stump then the pin slid. Guess a fellow got keep an eye on this. This happened after about 20 hours of use. Man they gotta be able to come up with something better than that.

I couldnt find the post, but it made me check mine.

5F, windchill -8 ... they're saying the overnight low will be -1F ... but the high tomorrow will only be 6F ...

Got the hole cut in the wall for the door into the closet. Of course, I did manage to catch the wiring with the Sawzall ...

Fortunately, it wasn't the feed but for a single wall outlet. There's a suspended ceiling on the wall that that outlet is on and the top of the framing may be open so I should be able to so I should be able to fish a wire down to the outlet from above.

Also got the closet where the utility tub will be going all cleaned out.

Tomorrow I'll frame it in and hang the door.

In other news: Petco started a Dollar-a-Gallon tank sale back on the day after Christmas ... we live in very dangerous times ... :laughing:

Doctor called me tonight, says he talked to other doctors, who recommend letting things heal another month, dont mess with it, and see how things are then. No more surgeries for the time being, subject to change in a month.

I like the plan, don't think it can hurt to wait longer. The 2 procedures he did to get xrays and check it might have actually made it a little worse, but it was the only way to check.

Good evening all. 24F this morning, partly cloudy, light east wind. Wind stayed down, sky cleared and high temp was 46F. Let the WBS coals burn out to clean the ash, had to go to dentist today, $1500 work needs to be done, spent 2K last year . Got home from errands and lunch went for ride, cleaned stove and fire the stove up.
New weather station and water over the dam 01/01 (slightly frozen)
