Odd, my B series just has a little plastic screw type bolt that i can finger loosen and is easily accessible for draining coolant. I did it the other day when I installed the heater core in my cab.
JT you are sick! I've had several uppers, including lungs. No biggie. First and only trip up the Wazoo River granted me a 10 year pass until the next excursion. Last spring, had an endoscopy to find a hiatal hernia. Next time, they want to do both at the same time. Was hoping by now. A camera pill would go in at breakfast, and come out after dinner. Guess they can't figure out how to write a service manual for a BX, so how'd they come up with a swallow cam.
[B said:wotalota[/B];4960358]I'm not sure what this tunnel is you guys are going on about. But after draining and replacing the coolant did it again after learning about removing the bolt and a lot more was drained. Only can confirm this for the BX24, bought in 2007 I think, with an engine label BX23 something or other. Location is lower block port side.
Hi,
This is great information! I want to put a block heater in my BX2370 and I expect this would be where it goes. Can anyone tell if this plug is about 1" and/or that this is the heater location?
Thanks,
Ray.
