The main problem with Oregon residents is blabbing about how nice it is. Otherwise there wouldn't be so many people from the other 56 states moving here.

I recall years ago your Governor actually put that on your tourism brochures...essentially "come to visit but don't stay".

I heard of it several years later so the theme must have continued well into the 1980's...guess the message didn't get through. It's one of the few states I haven't stepped foot in.

I've never been to the state but have read that it is hardly uniform in terms of topography/climate (I think I read that there is a large area of desert?). But like the rest of us, you get governed by the will of your big cities.
