Google is no longer my friend. It's funny how I used to be able to find things on Google, but now they no longer show up. Two things that I was trying to find that I remember being big news when it came out where about glaciers in Greenland and India. Both where being used as examples of global warming and how they where melting so quickly that the risk of the oceans rising was much worse then predicted. Lots of data used from years of study to support this, and then it came out that they where falsifying their data.
Hopefully some of you on here remember this to, and you will have better luck finding the links to when it was in the news.
While I don't know if glaciers are increasing or decreasing, I do know that some of the data used on this wasn't accurate. Why lie about it if it's really happening?
If you have to lie to support a position, why trust what they are saying?
If I hear on the news that it's raining outside, I will look out the window to see if it's really raining outside because I don't trust anything on the news. If a politician says something, I expect the opposite to be true until it's proven that it wasn't a lie.
The biggest thing that I get out of these threads is learning how many people blindly believe what they are told and accept it as fact.
