I got an email today from WR Long announcing this product. I did not even know they had my email, I don’t have WR Long products. I think there is some merit to this product depending on your use and characteristics of your land. ie how smooth your fields and roads are.

I got the same email too, that's how I found out about it. Didn't know they had my email addy either.

Over 10 years ago I had a failure fortunately covered under warrantee of hydraulic pump on my L39. A quad-ring seal blew out. The dealer replaced the entire pump. I think the failure happened when I was talking spoils from a major road washout. Each round trip bucket load was about a kilometer along bad dirt road. Needless to say I was not taking it easy.
I had the dealer place a small Accumulator in the circuit at my expense. It acts as a bit of a cushion, I'm sure not as effective as the Dual WL long set-up mounted right on the loader, but I've not yet broken the Loader.
Those who have see my posts showing how hard the tractor is worked know that is quite a statement.
I do not have the accumulator valved off, so my joystick controls have a bit of lag. I'm used to it.
In any case, the WL Long kit is reasonable priced an you do a lot of roading like I do, I recommend the use of a cushion accumulator.

Yes, at least on the surface the JD system and the WRL system look similar. The WRL picture at the link in the first message shows their comfort ride activated by a hand lever. Most of these damping systems use an electric solenoid and an on/off switch. I think I'd prefer that.
Was thinking the same thing. A single solenoid valve isn't much more than a ball valve & would greatly improve the utility of this.

Kubota dealer installed the CR10 on my L3560 with LA805 FEL.

I have been moving heavy hurricane tree debris to our community burn pile.

Works as advertised. With moderate loads of brush on Debris Forks damping actions reduces material falling off during transit.

One hydraulic line had to cross the right loader arm in my installation. Picture soon.

Sooo...... Jeff, have you had sufficient experience with the newly installed CR10 to give an analysis. Is the unit going to help that much and do you think it will be worth the cost.

I had a Kubota with the shockless ride option on the loader. Worth every penny. It made moving round bales (fast) in rough fields very tolerable.

FYI- Here is a diagram of the JD system. The Deere system comes standard with the mechanical lever, and they have the option for the solenoid valve AW34007. They want $395 for the valve, not including the fittings, harness and switch, so that option must price out higher than WR Long's entire product.

Pictures.

I do not know why I would choose to close the accumulator valve.

With CR10 working, bucket does not pound, burdened or unburdened.

Oak section guesstimate 1,200 to 1,400 pounds. FEL (LA805) lift capacity 1,700+ pounds. I cut large diameter Oak loads to fit in the bucket, near to the tractor, rather than on the forks, where leverage works against stability. Three Point Hitch counterbalance 900 pounds. Much less transient load stress on the tractor with Long's "Comfort Ride" cushion-accumulator installed.

Haynes aluminum Debris Forks, no longer in production.

I am still burning debris from Hurricane Irma in September 2017.

Kubota should offer Shockless Ride option on the Grand L series. The proverbial cherry atop whipped cream.
