Heck yes! Using the tractor is a horrible slow and inefficient way to do this... So it's perfect! I spent 3 hours on the tractor doing what my UTV and Warn plow could go in 20 minutes. But, I got to have tractor time! Always great fun.IMG_20180113_112735973_HDR.jpg

Thank you. I see videos produced so awesome, I know that mine are bad compared to most. I don't really know how to do much with that stuff, and honestly... It takes a lot of time to sit down and work on videos. Those folks that do such professional looking videos must have some tricks that I don't know. I try...

By the way, this morning I dropped the backhoe and put the 3 point together and mounted the 72" rear grader blade. I ran to a neighbor's place a mile away and plowed their driveway with it. It actually worked really well. I was impressed with the rear blade, it's not as good as using my UTV and Warn plow, but it gets the job done just as well, but much slower.

Oh, and I wanted to test the traction of those big meaty tires in snow and on a hill. That shocked me the most! The amount of traction it has its beyond anything I could imagine.

I was able to drive right up along the side of the house.

Also, ran to the local Walmart for some Power Service winter additive and saw that the shelf is wiped out of the 911.... They have the summer and the winter mix, but they are cleaned out of the emergency blend.IMG_20180114_122915747_HDR.jpgIMG_20180114_113329068.jpg

No problem going forward or back but be a little careful with R4's on side slopes I found them to let the tractor slide sideways down hill pretty easily, say in snow, ice, wet grass etc.

I had them on my previous B7500 but after a few years I ordered a set of wheels with turf tires mounted because the R4's were nicking up the yard where I turned when mowing. Anyway come late Fall I always took them off and put the meatier tread Industrial's on for dealing with snow. One year snow came before I swapped the wheels so I went out and plowed with the turf tires still on and low and behold the tractor did a lot better in the snow and ice with the turfs. Actually surprised me. So I ordered my B2650 with turf tires, if my use includes a lot of loader work on bare dirt or mud I'd probably have been better off with R4's. I still may pick up a mounted set if I can find them for a good price.

For me, I have a couple miles of fairly steep logging trails that are clay, this is going to be a common place to use the tractor. Then I'm using in the nearly 3 acre side yard, but not using around the house on the sod yard.

While in sure that the turf tires are great, I wanted the heavy carcass of the industrial with the bar tread that will support harder digging. I guess it's like anything else, there is no right or wrong, there is only what is right for the individual set of conditions.
