Yes, ice cream is much more interesting. Besides this discussion of global warming is never going to change these entrenched opinions. Data is no longer data, facts are now fabricated and quotes come from unidentified sources.

Besides - anybody who posts will NEVER live long enough to witness an outcome. So BS is the supreme "coin of the realm".

Now ice cream - whole different matter.

One thing is for certain: as we blunder forward in time someone's position will be falsified. Historically, as time has marched on predictive model after predictive model sensational predictions have been blown up and repeatedly proven wrong. Meanwhile, three generations of school children have been taught as a near religion that human-caused climate change is a big deal, and perhaps the number one problem we have for the survival of our species. Hubris. But they believe it like they believe in equal outcomes, no matter the effort, for all.

Dairy Queen isn't ice cream... its soft serve (frozen and compressed) ice milk. It can't be called ice cream because it doesn't have enough butter fat.

On a side note... I met my wife when we both worked at Dairy Queen in early high school years. So I have a special place in my heart for Dairy Queen.... even though they got rid of Cherry topping a couple years ago!

My wife loves DQ blizzards. I am ok with them.

I worry about peanuts, because if you look at most DQ toppings area, usually a mess.

25 cents for a large plain cone of DQ back when I was in 6th grade.

I like twists now from a local stand 6 miles up the road - only a few times during the summer.

There is a local place 40 min up the road that makes their own ice cream - rum raisin on a sugar cone - is something else - not artificial!

I like that - but no!

However my father was a poet - Robert Creeley (look him up). Using language for the fine nuances of intention just comes naturally.

Have you tried the candy cane oreo blizzard they roll out at Christmas? It's like a girl scout thin mint cookie in ice cream form. That's Purdy darn good.
