The LS loader is stronger, but keep in mind that the LS loaders are the LOWEST lifting loaders, for Height, in this segment. If you need height out of your loader, for piling dirt, grabbing & piling brush, etc... then you might consider the NH machine instead. The LS loader lifts to 96" @ pins while the NH loader lifts to 103" at the pins. The bigger difference comes in regards to dump clearance (amount of height under the dumped bucket at full height, which comes into play when making those piles or picking up brush). The LS dump clearance is only 65", while on the NH it's 77". That's a full foot higher that you can pile dirt, snow, brush, etc. This also means that you can keep a level pallet higher in the air.
I'm not intending to bash LS. I owned 2 LS tractors with this same loader. It's strong, though not as strong as the numbers suggest. I ultimately left LS when I switched to a cab and I went with Massey instead, because Massey had one of the best loaders in the segment. The Massey lifts 2527 lbs to 114" height. HUGE difference. Not only is it lifting a higher weight, but that weight measurement is taken 18" higher! The end result is that even though the max "weight at pivot pins" numbers are similar, in truth, the Massey loader is substantially stronger. i did real world weight lifting comparisons to check that.
It's my only real complaint with LS tractors in this segment, and one that they should work on. (I keep hoping they'll see my posts regarding this and add a better loader as an option). Bottom line with the point I'm trying to make... If you don't think you'll ever need the extra lift height, the the LS loader will be fine for you. But the height really comes in handy, and in truth, the overall weight lift numbers probably aren't too much different when you factor in at which height that "max weight lift at max height" rating was taken.
As far as the tractor, LS builds a great machine and I'm sure that whichever one you choose will be a nice machine.
