You are right , I'm sorry, I should have added that when referring to the cause and origin of a fire, spontaneous combustion means it starts from an organic source and has an self-heating or increase in temperature due to exothermic internal reactions.

You did not say spontaneous combustion, just spontaneous, but I jumped on the definition of spontaneous combustion. But we still do not know the exact cause of the fire if accumulated oil from past cooks is ruled out. It's odd that oil has to be looked at in an appliance that is advertised as oil free cooking.

37F and partly cloudy @ 11:00, high today supposed to hit 41F.

Looks like a couple day dip in temps after this 4 day warm up and then back into the mid to high 40's for daily high temps.

Another trip to The Depot yesterday ... this time to get some drywall mud and an old work electrical box that I forgot the first time.

After I got back last evening The Woman informs me that the handle/knob for the door that I picked up is too big around and she will have trouble gripping and turning it with her arthritis so it will have to go back.

Got hinges installed on closet door, door hung, and the room side mudded up with the first coat. That will likely still be too wet today for a second coat but I can get the first coat up on the closet side of the door. Then probably sanding the lumber for the tank racks.

What a difference a day makes. We got the storm they said we would get. I looked out side and we have 12-14 inches of new snow. And still have a winter storm warning tell 5 am tomorrow and it says we could still get 10 more inches of snow. It looks like the light fluffy kind.

I'll get out there later to day and start moving it around. I was starting to think that I wasn't going to be using the blower this year.

Kyle_ I would think about it, but who would help the neighbors up here?

Glad to hear that most everyone is starting to feel and do better health wise.

Everyone enjoy the weekend.

Good Morning!!!! 41F @ 8:00AM. Plentiful sunshine. High 53F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.

Looks like it's gonna be a nice day, nice enough to BBQ some ribs. I like the KC Masterpiece, and the Sweet Baby James, both hickory style. Been buying the SBJ lately, though, 'cause it comes in 64 oz. jugs that seem less expensive than the smaller bottles. The local big box grocery, WinCo, carries it.

I think I've had okra a time or two, and to me it didn't have much flavor. And after all the slime talk, I think I'll leave that one to you okra experts out there.

Uneventful trip to town yesterday, even at the mechanic's. No transmission yet, seems he's finding more parts he didn't order yet. I told him I wanted to use it for a camping trip on Super Bowl weekend, but he didn't seem to sure it would be done even then.

Went to Costco to get one of their rotisserie chickens. Went to the shelf where they keep them and it was empty. Picked up some cherry tomatoes to finish my shopping, and still no chickens on the shelf. They had a whole bank of 'em that looked done, but there wasn't anybody there to unhook 'em. Remembered I needed TurboTax, so I went up to the front of the store to the TurboTax shelf and got one. They just put out the empty sleeves, and you have to wait at the checkout stand for someone to run and get the rest of it. I guess that's to make sure you pay for it. Got back to the chicken shelf and still no chickens. So I wandered around and found a big box of organic raisins and put that in my cart. Got back to the chicken shelf and still no chickens. Just down the isle was a big display of boneless pork chops, so one of those packages jumped into my cart when I wasn't lookin'. Got back to the chicken shelf and still no chickens. Turned around and there was one of those nice little old ladies givin' out free samples, and somehow a twelve pack of smoked hot links found its way into my cart. Got back to the chicken shelf and still no chickens. By now there was a line of people and their carts in front of the chicken shelf. Circled back around through the cheese isle, and some French gouda looked good, as did a big box of crumbled Feta. Got back to the chicken shelf and still no chickens. The beer isle was just around the corner and I hadn't been over there yet, and they had a case of Guinness that needed to go home with me. Got back to the chicken shelf there was a guy messin' with the door on one of the chicken cookers. And he had a buddy that was fillin' up a table with those tubs the chicken comes in. By now there were even more people lined up for chickens, and some of 'em were lookin' kinda desperate. I pushed my cart up the isle aways and then turned it around so's I'd have some protection in case there was a riot. The first guy got some big rubber gloves on and started taking the spits out of the rotisserie machine, plopping chickens into the tubs as fast as he could. His buddy was followin' along behind slapping lids on 'em and sliding 'em onto the chicken shelf, and people was elbowing each other and bangin' carts to get up there and grab 'em faster'n he was puttin' 'em out. I took another couple steps back so I wouldn't get trampled. After a few minutes the line wore down and I was finally able to get close enough to snag my chicken and make my get away. While I was standin' in line to pay for my chicken I thought maybe Costco had come up with a new strategy to increase sales by makin' people wait for those chickens to cook. I went in there to get a five dollar chicken and ended up bringin' home a hundred and forty five bux worth of other stuff I didn't even know I needed. Maybe I should buy a big slug of that Costco stock. I figure any company that can increase their sales thirty times in as many minutes by timing how they cook chickens is gonna be worth a fortune not too far off into the future. Who knows, maybe if I buy enough stock, I can afford to keep shopping at Costco!

Hope everyone enjoys the heck out'a their weekend!

RNG- Based on my experiences at Costco and BJ's I believe you to be correct. Last time I was in BJ's I was the only patron at the counter and no one behind the counter would acknowledge my existence until I took a :censored: numbered slip.

Rick- If you have snow cover right now that is normal. The snowpack here causes a lot of fog this time of year.

Nope, we’re in south central Texas, no snow here, just fog.
