Small stuff that I didn't think I needed

When you do 'get a round toit', I suggest cutting up a cheap stubby-holder (koozie, I think you'd call one). They're regularly made out of foam neoprene and make a great buffer between the 'strap' and whatever you're attaching it to. The neoprene also acts as a vibration barrier.
Actually I probably will not strap the extinguisher to the ROPS. I will use some adhesive bonded fasteners to hold the bracket on. If you have seen some of my other tractor mods (LED lights, Ammo tool boxes, side view mirrors) you will know what I am talking about. Don't want to viewed as a shill for the company I work for though... so I will leave the details out in this thread. :D

I do remember threads where you've shown those fasteners... they look very 'smart' and obviously do a heavy duty job.

I habitually try to eliminate as much vibration as I can... it was my #1 bugbear/gremlin during my Navy technician days!!!

I have to say that the Click Bond fasteners are the best thing ever made for installing stuff on your roll bar, tractor, ATV, SxS, etc. I used them several times and they hold up great!!! No holes to drill, no worries about damage, just a great product!

Will click bond fasteners work on a ABS plastic canopy?

lighting, yes, battery minder, hooks, chains, 3 pt attachment to pull, lift, pull.

yes... surface prep important. Clean and scuff up the bonding surface, and solvent wipe prior. Won't be bullet proof and take 1000lb loads like bonding to metal but you can get good bonds.

Well, back to the OP's original question...

A few things that I initially bought, whilst 'hanging out' at my dealership's parts department, were maintenance things that I didn't have; grease gun + 2 'tubes' of grease, a filter wrench (I now have two, a small strap type and the larger pliers type), spare fuses, packs of multiple sized drop-pins, lock-tite, spray lubrication and a torque wrench.

I also bought (seeing as I was there) a "JD" brand set of metric ratchet/sockets + a set of SAE large sockets (just in case). I've only ever used one of those SAE sockets... on a Chinese made implement. :)

Oh, and make sure that you have at least one 17mm spanner! (I now have 3 different types/styles) The most common metric bolt size on a tractor seems to be that size.
