Hydraulic valve: Which one?

Need a 3 spool valve for my mahindra 2555. 2 of the spools will be used for a T&T and the 3rd will be a second remote hook up. I would like to have 1 of the spools be able to float to use on my tilt cylinder. I looked around for a while and just wound up really confused so I thought I would ask for some advice and see what you guys would recommend for this setup.

I recommend you get these. Very good valves and you can get what you need. I highly recommend that you get both of your T&T valves with the float feature. Then the 3rd just a spring return to center valve for most implement cylinders.

If you want, I can set you up with the valves and couplers.

The joystick control adds quite a bit to a set of stacking valves, actually to any valve. Plus it can complicate with how the valve gets mounted.

On the pictured valve, the inlet is on the left with a 90 & a 45 pointed to the right. The return to tank port has a 90 pointed to the right and the power beyond is at the center on the right side with the 90 & 45 on it.

This begs a question. I had in the past when inserting a valve in the power beyond circuit, I always ran a separate hose to a T in the existing tank hose. So the hoses on the inserted valve were:

In from last power beyond
Out on PBY to In on next valve
To Tank
(2) Cylinders Work Ports

Then I was looking at my backhoe and there are only two hoses. One from FEL power beyond and one returning to the tractor. No third hose.

When do I need a 3rd (Tank) hose? Does the last valve not need one because everything goes to tank at that point?

Correct, the last valve dumps all fluid back to the tank.

I am looking at ordering a new CUT with two rear remote valves. One to control the angle of a back blade and another remote valve, just incase I would find a need for it in the future.

Would a "return to center valve" be good for angling the back blade?

I was thinking of ordering (1) "return to center" and (1) with a "float" position. Would this be a wise choice? I will not be going with a top & tilt configuration.

I have 3 remotes on the rear of my tractor, 2 are spring centered and 1 is detented, none of them have a float position and I have missed that function several times.
If I could have gotten a float I would have. I like float for floating on two way cylinders and its really nice to have on single acting cylinders which many implements have.
I like detent valves for anything that's has it's own control such as a wood splitter or a hydraulic motor such as grain or fertilizer carts.
A spring to center would be a good valve for angling a blade, also its hard to have to many remotes.

I don't know the size tractor or blade you are considering but you could be short changing yourself with just 2 remotes, many blades that have a hydraulic angle could also have hydraulic tilt and hydraulic offset then add a hydraulic top link and you are up to 4 remotes.

A float feature valve works just like a spring return to center valve. (let go of the lever and valve springs back into the closed position) It just has that 4th detent position which has the float mode feature.
