23 and clear going to 54.
Buppies, send some of that snow over here. We'll take Texas' and Drew's share. Haven't had one here deep enough to snow shoe in for a couple of years.
Drew, bummer how the deal went.
Need to get the tractor warmed up in a little while and move a pallet of firewood up to the porch before the sun thaws the soil/grass. Then need to cut some more...burned more this year at this point than ever. I empty my ashes each day, too, but dump them in a shallow pit rather than the driveway, later to move them with the FEL. My pit is full, and rises up from the ground like a mini volcano. Have had the grapple on, not the bucket, all winter so haven't cleaned it out.
Ed, are you getting a lot of wind? I was planning to go hiking on the mountain above you yesterday morning, but the forecast was for 30 mph winds all day, and under 20 degrees, so decided to go to the gym instead. Also gave me an excuse to get some turkey chili and Fuji salad at Panera's while my wife is out of town. Very tasty, but very expensive.
Don, what's it like driving around Austin now? Pix I've seen makes it looks like it has boomed into a very big city. My wife and I have wanted to go and hear some good music, like the Derailers.
I got a couple of my tax dilemmas solved with some good help from a TBN member, but still working on one.
