2 below and going to a high of 5. Wind N10 gusting to 17 mph. Sunny today. Snow tonite and all day on Wednesday. We'll see.

My new headlights should be in today, and the new cell phone and game cameras should be in tomorrow. All will need to be charged up before using them. I have a charger here and lots of rechargeable batteries.

I've got nothing planned for today.

Stay safe all,

33 and snowing big wet flakes...headed to 39.

Roy, hopes test goes well and things improve.

Thomas, I need to find something to sell you so I can get paid in maple syrup.

Buppies, hope your gout is better. Randy is right, best approach is hydration.

Good morning all, 29 this morning going to 32 and 30% chance of snow. We have about 1 in of snow this morning, wife will like that. Need to take the Prius in for it's 10,000 mi service. Will also make it a Costco run and drop off mom's tax info. That ought to about fill the day.

Thomas, used to go to H&R block, one year they told me I owed $5000. I didn't think that sound right to me so I took what they did to a CPA and asked him to look them over. He said pray you are not audited, they messed things all up, I owed nothing that year. Hope you have a better time than I did.

Randy, I took an allopurinol every day and still had flare ups of gout. Ate cherries too. Went on the diet Don is talking about and quit taking the pills. No gout for I guess 5 years or so. :)

Have a great day, prayers sent for many. Ed

Good Morning!!!! 50F @ 3:45AM. A mix of clouds and sun. High 64F. Winds light and variable.

Just in case you can't get out or the weather's socked in, NASA is streaming live video of the Super Blue Blood lunar eclipse tomorrow morning.

Hope all those suffering see a quick end to their pain.

And I hope the physical therapists go easy on the missus, Rip. But most seem to believe in "no pain, no gain"...

Good luck with the generator, Thomas, and especially with the taxes.

What kind of person steals an ambulance with their butt hangin' out of a hospital gown? Hospitals aren't the most hospitable places, but most people just call a family member or friend for a ride. That musta been one desperate hombre. If you can get ahold of the video, LS, please share!

Fired up the bead blaster to clean up an auxiliary power socket on the old motorcycle yesterday, and decided to blast the parcel rack while everything was going. Turns out it was powder coated, and the beads pretty much just bounced off without cutting. I'd never done it before myself, but I hear the pros burn off the finishes in an oven. So out came the oxy-acetylene torch, and it didn't take long for the stuff to blister up and flake. That made for very easy blasting, but since I wasn't very consistent with the torch, there were still some tough spots left and they got another treatment. I'd switched to Black Beauty media before that, and while it worked very quickly, it also left a very rough surface. So I swapped that out for fine glass beads and got a nice smooth finish. We're supposed to have temps in the low 60s today and tomorrow, but if I keep the rack inside before I shoot it, and move it back inside to warm it back up between coats, it should be fine to paint. We'll see.

Got a parts shipment yesterday and it looks like there's some sorting to do on the handlebar controls. Not sure what was supposed to be on the bike, or if the right controls for the horn, hi/low beam switch, and turn signals, are on it now. What I have doesn't look like any of the pictures I've seen, and the new part doesn't fit anything I have. I'll send some photos back to the supplier today and see what they have to say.:confused2:

Also started going through the rear brake linkage parts, and should get those sorted out today. Might want to replace some of them with stainless steel, but they're pretty proud of their offerings judging from the prices being charged.

Hope everyone enjoys the day...

Have you tried Cranberry juice/Cranberry Cocktail?

Cranberry helps as well. I’m now doing my own shopping since Lynn died and I can remember all the stuff that came natural to her. I’ve got make a better list.

Need to pour second cup of coffee. 14° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 24° with partly cloudy skies. After sunup need to get out and clean snow off drive and walkways. Not much else planned for today. Probably not going to see any Moon tomorrow. Clouds, rain and snow forecast for 7:43 am when it will be visible. Moon was out earlier. Lots of dark shadows on the fresh white snow.

RNG, no deals for me on the Battery Saver. JBtools is 11 miles from my home. But will call them to see if I can pick one up at there place.

Don, I have not used the OEM charger in 2 years. During summer I only put Battery Saver on when light on dash comes on telling it time to charge batteries. 49 volts on the Digital meter I have installed next to light. I have not used the golf cart since snow started falling at Christmas time. It has been plugged in all that time. Water level is where it should be. When I checked it yesterday.

Drew, the Pulse charger is on all the time. The more you use the Charger the more it Desulfates.

Roy, hope your doctor is doing more than a PSA during your visit.

Prayers for those not feeling up to par.

Good Morning All.

I can’t see allopurinol so that’s not an option. There is a new line of drugs out but side effects are not clear and insurance will pay but screams like a banshee. I know the cranberries and cherries work I just have to do it. I have to watch using juice, way too much sugar in most of it. 35 going to 36 with off and on snow showers.
Love you all!
